Whether it was Marquise Blair in the second round or Cody Burton in the third, some fans have opined that the Seahawks could have been more patient and selected these players later. That may or may not be the case, as fans are not as plugged in with scouts and contact around the league, so in order to get an assessment of the Hawks draft so far, let’s take a look at some of the grades that have been given out. Just as a reminder, four players have been added to the roster so far, and they are:DE L.J. Collier, TCUS Marquise Blair, UtahWR D.K. Metcalf, Ole MissLB Cody Burton Marshawn Lynch Color Rush Jersey , UtahI’ll start with every Seattle fan’s favorite, Pete Prisco. Prisco has for years been at odds with many Seahawks fans, as he was not a believer in Russell Wilson what Russ brings to the table. That obviously came to an end back in December when Prisco authored an apology letter to Wilson admitting that his opinion about Wilson’s game was wrong. In any case, Prisco has Seattle with some variation of a B for all four of the selections. His grades for the picks are a B+ for the selection of Collier, a B for Blair, a B- for Metcalf and a B for Burton. I feel it’s kind of odd to be hearing some fans complain about the team’s picks and give low grades, while Prisco is handing out solid B grades for all four of these selections. What is going on? Moving on, the Hawks also got solid grades for their moves from NFL.com Draft Analyst Chad Reuter in a breakdown giving grades to all teams through the first two days. For the Seahawks his comments were: Over at Sports Illustrated, Andy Benoit gave the Seahawks grades that covered a wider range, but overall were not as high. The breakdown by pick at SI.com was as follows Collier: C+Blair: C+Metcalf: A+Burton: CObviously Earl Thomas III Color Rush Jersey , it’s impossible to accurately grade a draft class until years after the draft, but it’s always interesting to see what the “experts” have to say about the players added through the draft. With the Seahawks set to more than double their haul of players on Day 3, we’ll check back in on the grades in the coming days and see what the thoughts are regarding the final additions in the draft. Fans of the Seattle Seahawks are well aware of the fact that the team’s season came to a crashing halt against the Dallas Cowboys on Saturday evening at AT&T Stadium, so now the focus turns towards those players who are not under contract for 2019. Thursday I took a look at what Frank Clark could command in salary as free agency quickly approaches, and then later in the day on Thursday K.J. Wright went on Sports Radio KJR 950 AM and offered a tiny glimpse into his situation. In short, there don’t appear to have been substantive discussions between the two sides regarding a return in 2019. As unpleasant as that may be to read, there are still almost nine weeks until free agency, but there is plenty of time between now and then for the two sides to eventually come to an agreement on a contract that would keep Wright in Seattle. Unfortunately, if one wishes to take Wright at his word, that may not be a possibility. So Chris Carson Color Rush Jersey , now begins the eternal debate of whether he is actually going to be a free agent or whether this is simply contract posturing. The Hawks front office has not done well with third contracts for star defensive players, and with Wright having missed a good portion of 2018 with a knee injury, they may be content to allow him to leave. In any case, it appears likely that Wright may have played his last football in a Seahawks uniform. With Austin Calitro and Shaquem Griffin having filled his spot and both set to return next year, and the possibility still remaining, however slim, that Mychal Kendricks may not be incarcerated, it is a position at which the Hawks could well be content with their options at the position. However, it would certainly not be fun to lose yet another core member of the defense that led the Seahawks to the top of the mountain.

How many times have you lost a remote control to a TV or stereo? How about the remote control to the fan that is on your 20-foot high ceiling? It’s infuriating and, with modern devices, it is sometimes the only way you know how to operate the item.
