a tough loss for the good guys last night. Going int Antworten

Howdy everyone!Alright Womens Laquon Treadwell Jersey , it was o the game, you knew the Vikings had to play a very mistake-free game in order to win. The Saints are a tough team, and it was going to be close. The turnovers were the key, especially the Thielen fumble, which became a 10 or 14 point swing. Hey, it’s a loss, but the team is still in a good position in the conference. The Bears are slightly ahead, but the Vikings will play the Bears twice, and the Vikings’ schedule gets easier for quite a stretch. Let’s hope they can get some guys healthy, and get ready to make a run through the playoffs. SKOL!The links will be a bit brief, but I’ll try to update tomorrow. I’m taking a few much-needed days of rest to do some thinking and planning, which means I’m taking a few days to......fish, and hang out with the fam. So, I’ll try to update and add more content when I’m able. If the fish are biting Linval Joseph Jersey , it may be later in the morning.Around the DN since our last open thread:Chris has your post-game wrap-up.Vikings news from other sources and news from around the rest of the NFL:At Vikings.com, watch Coach Zimmer’s post-game presser, see all the game highlights from last night, and there’s a lot more to look through in the media vault.NFL.com has a list of players who are attracting trade interest as the deadline approaches. Catch up on all the week 8 scores and highlights, courtesy of ESPN.We come to today’s media selection:I’m most likely fishing as you read this, so let’s play fishin’ by Widespread Panic. Enjoy!Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:No discussion of politics or religionNo feeding of the trollsThis isn’t a male version of The View, so leave the gender hatred at the doorKeep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tagsNo pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employerIf you can’t disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go awayWhile navigating the open thread, just assume it’s sarcasmWith that http://www.thevikingslockerroom.com/authentic-jarius-wright-jersey , the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up and tie one on. Don’t forget to tip your waitress, and try the knoephla soupWhat You Missed: Week 1 Welcome to What You Missed, where each week I’ll wrap up all the news around the NFL that will affect the Vikings. And for a contending team, that’s usually a lot.***First off, before getting into any specific game action, let’s talk about the new tackling rule. Specifically, the amount of roughing the passer penalties that we had in Week 1. According to NFL Penalty Tracker, there were 15 roughing the passer penalties this week, which is the most in a single week since they started tracking penalties in 2009. And people have already started to raise concerns.Elsewhere, the Browns and Steelers played to a tie (?) and Le’Veon Bell still hasn’t reported. The Ravens beat the Bills 47-3. The Dolphins and the Titans played the longest game in NFL history. In the North...It was quite a week. I’m sure most of us tuned in to Sunday Night Football to see the Packers host the Bears, and...wow. A couple takeaways from that one: Khalil Mack is going to be a problem in the NFC North for a very, very long time.Aaron Rodgers can do some things. That fourth quarter was just something else.I don’t know if the Bears can come back from a loss like that. But Matt Nagy has a lot of weapons on offense, and the Bears look like they could make some noise in the division. We don’t know if Rodgers will play against the Vikings on Sunday. In other news, the Lions got absolutely destroyed by the Jets. Yes Womens Matt Wile Jersey , the Jets. Even with a pick-six on the first play of the game, they couldn’t hang with a rookie quarterback making his first career start. Their defense looked awful, and the Jets could pretty much do anything they wanted in all three phases. It’s only been a game and we shouldn’t overreact, but the Lions looked as bad as any team in the NFL besides the Bills.Ex-Vikings quarterback reportWhat a debut for Case Keenum! Seattle might be primed for a down year, but Keenum helped lead the Broncos to a 27-24 win over Russell Wilson and the Seahawks to start off his Denver career with a win. Keenum threw for 329 yards and three touchdowns, although he did toss three interceptions as well. His TD throw to Demaryius Thomas, which proved to be the game-winner, was placed perfectly around a Seahawks defender. I’m wishing Keenum all the best, so it’s nice to see him get off to a good start while also taking down an NFC team.Meanwhile, Sam Bradford didn’t fare so well. The former Vikings QB threw for 153 yards with an interception and no touchdowns as Arizona lost 24-6 to Washington. Josh Rosen will continue to loom behind Bradford if he can’t win some games. And also in this one...Adrian Peterson, who used to do some things for the Vikings, ran for 96 yards and a touchdown on 26 carries. Contender alert!Despite a 18-12 win over the Falcons, the Eagles did not look good in the season opener on Thursday night. Nick Foles looked like the old Nick Foles, and they clearly miss Alshon Jeffrey. It’s also important to remember they lost both their Offensive Coordinator and their QB coach (the latter Dan Bailey Jersey , John DeFilippo, is now the Vikings OC), so their offense could very realistically take a step back. On the other side of this game, the Falcons have a lot of problems. Offensively, Matt Ryan just doesn’t look like the guy who won NFL MVP in 2016. Defensively, the Falcons were already in trouble, and then they lost Keanu Neal for the season with a torn ACL.The Rams won their opener after a rocky start against the Jon Gruden-led Raiders, and the Saints were very surprisingly outgunned by Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Bucs in a shootout. As is usually the case, New Orleans needs to figure out some things on defense. Especially, you know, at safety. When there’s 10 seconds left. Alright, that’s it for What You Missed’s inaugural edition. Let me know if there’s other stuff you want to see here, and we’ll be back next week!
